A couple months ago, I decided to make my room a little more liveable. This meant getting some lamps instead of just my overhead light, managing my cables, and finally, buying a pair of plants. So, I added to new lives to my home: an African Violet miniature and a Nerve Plant (Fittonia). I did plenty of research in hopes of preventing their death (a reality which seemed inevitable). The best I had ever done caring for a plant was a bean I grew in elementary for class, and a mint plant which sat in a windowsill until it died (I think of a bug infestation, I'm not entirely sure).
